May 28 (Sat) 2 - 8pm - at RAT'S CAVE by Start From Zero
G/F, 18A-B Tai Ping Shan Street, Sheung Wan, Hong Kong

The dealership of art as opposed to the creation of art itself has always been juxtaposing against each other under the backdrop of commercialism whilst at the same time, they're undeniably at the tip of a two-edged sword. Has it the trade of art ruined creativity and expressions alone - that the answer to it stands as an egg or chicken question to the most of us. But to a small group of local Hong Kong creative individuals from different disciplines, the answer to it would probably be "hell yes".

If the creation itself is meant to achieve certain appreciation in exchange, or taken in some form of exchange, and perhaps monetary means would be the very last bit of exchange that might come across most of these individuals' minds. While the ArtHK stands firmly as an elitist arena of quantified, art appreciation; Art (Un)fair voices out as an alternative to channel through the prescribed way of art appreciation, in the hope to break through our traditional schemata on "art trading" based on a slim belief on that new inspirations are going to stream through these tiny cracks of collective, if not powerful efforts, of the very few.

Individuals who are exhibiting this time includes C#, G LA G LA DI GUO, GRAPHIC AIRLINES, KS, LITTLE THUNDER, RRAAY LAI, ROVER TO, SCOTT CHAN, START FROM ZERO, SZECHAI CHAN & RAM CHEUNG and TELEPHONE FUNG.

The exhibition is opened to public. Feel free to bring along an object of interest in exchange for the great works that these individuals created on this coming Saturday, 28 May 2011 at Rat's Cave.
